The British High Commission in Nigeria has congratulated Team Nigeria on its impressive performance at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, where the country emerged as Africa’s highest-performing nation.
Nigeria concluded its campaign with 24 medals comprising 10 gold, seven silver and seven bronze, finishing as the continent’s best-performing team at the Games.
In a post on its official X page, the UK in Nigeria praised the athletes for their achievements and resilience throughout the competition.
