APC Releases Names Of Disqualified House Of Reps Aspirants Across States

The All Progressives Congress has released the names of House of Representatives aspirants disqualified from participating in the party’s primaries in several states ahead of the 2027 National Assembly elections.

The list was contained in an official statement issued on Saturday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, following the conclusion of the screening exercise for aspirants seeking the APC ticket.

According to the party, the screening panels assessed candidates based on approved guidelines and procedures to determine those qualified to contest in the forthcoming primaries across various federal constituencies.

“The screening exercise was conducted by the Party’s Screening Committees in line with established procedures and guidelines,” the statement read.

The APC listed the following aspirants as not cleared for the House of Representatives primaries:

Ondo State

  • Hon. Adefisoye Tajudeen
  • Olusegun Victor Ategbole
  • Seun Oluwashina Ajongbolo
  • Rt. Hon. Arowole Ayodeji Samuel
  • Morufu Tosin Ibrahim
  • Oseni Oyeniyi
  • Olaleye John Adedipe

Bauchi State

  •  Dr. Bashir Ibrahim Bello

Ebonyi State

  • Hon. Idu Igariwe

Kogi State

  •  Sanni Salau Ogembe

Rivers State

  • Air Commodore John Azubuike Opara (RTD)
  • Hon. Anderson Allison Igbiki
  • Awaji Imombek D. Abirite
  • Hon. Boma Goodhead

The party said the screening exercise formed part of preparations for the APC’s 2027 primary elections across the country.
