Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, on Tuesday attended the commissioning of the Jinlide•Qiangyu New Energy Plant in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, People’s Republic of China, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to attracting strategic investments that drive industrialisation and sustainable economic growth.

Governor Sule, who attended the event alongside the Governor of Zamfara State, His Excellency Dauda Lawal, described the inauguration of the ultra-modern facility as another milestone in the growing partnership between Chinese investors and Nigerian states endowed with critical solid mineral resources.

Speaking during the ceremony, the Governor commended the management of Jinlide•Qiangyu New Energy for its confidence in Nigeria and its commitment to advancing the global clean energy value chain. He noted that Nasarawa State remains focused on creating an enabling environment for credible investors through transparent policies, infrastructure development, and responsible mining practices.

Governor Sule said his administration would continue to encourage investments that add value to the state’s mineral resources, create employment opportunities, facilitate technology transfer, and promote inclusive economic development.

He added that the state looks forward to signing additional Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Chinese companies to deepen existing partnerships and expand investment opportunities in the mining and industrial sectors.

As part of the visit, Governor Sule and members of his delegation toured the state-of-the-art production facility, where they observed the company’s advanced manufacturing processes, modern technologies, and stringent quality control systems.

The Governor expressed satisfaction with the level of innovation at the plant and emphasised the importance of replicating similar value-addition initiatives in Nasarawa State to maximise the economic potential of its abundant mineral resources.

In recognition of his efforts to strengthen international partnerships, Governor Sule was presented with a special plaque of honour by the management of Jinlide•Qiangyu New Energy.

The visit forms part of the Governor’s strategic investment drive aimed at strengthening global partnerships and consolidating Nasarawa State’s position as Nigeria’s leading destination for responsible mining, mineral beneficiation, and industrial development.
