Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Madawaki Ward, Gusau Local Government Area of Zamfara State, have affirmed Governor Dauda Lawal as the party’s sole candidate for the 2027 governorship election.
The affirmation took place during the ongoing APC governorship primary election being conducted across the country.
Representatives of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and officials from the APC National Headquarters monitored the exercise.
Both the INEC and APC representatives commended party members and voters in the ward for the peaceful conduct of the primary process.
Speaking after the affirmation, Governor Dauda Lawal expressed appreciation to party members for their support and confidence in his leadership.
He assured the people of continued delivery of democratic dividends and pledged to sustain development efforts across the state ahead of the 2027 general elections.
