The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the incumbent Governor of Anambra State and candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Professor Chukwuma Soludo, winner of the 2025 Anambra governorship election.
According to the final results announced by INEC, APGA polled 422,664 votes, far ahead of its closest rival, the All Progressives Congress (APC), which scored 99,445 votes. The Young Progressives Party (YPP) came third with 37,753 votes, while the Labour Party (LP) recorded 10,576 votes.
Out of 2,788,864 registered voters, a total of 598,229 were accredited for the election across the 21 local government areas of the state.

Rejected votes: 11,244
Total votes cast: 595,298
With this outcome, Soludo secured a decisive victory, reaffirming his stronghold in Anambra politics and extending APGA’s dominance in the state.
