Chelsea F.C. booked their place in the FA Cup final after a 1–0 victory over Leeds United F.C. at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
Midfielder Enzo Fernández scored the decisive goal in the 23rd minute, heading home a cross from Pedro Neto to give Chelsea the advantage in a tightly contested semi-final.
Leeds had earlier threatened to take the lead when Brenden Aaronson latched onto a flick from Dominic Calvert-Lewin, but Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sánchez produced a vital save to keep the scores level.
Chelsea pushed for a second goal before the break, coming close when João Pedro struck the foot of the post.
The result comes amid recent managerial changes at Chelsea, following the departure of Liam Rosenior. Interim manager Calum McFarlane has taken charge for the remainder of the season and is set to lead the team into the final.
For Leeds, the defeat ends hopes of reaching their first FA Cup final since 1973, when they were beaten by Sunderland A.F.C..
Chelsea will now face Manchester City F.C. in the final scheduled for 16 May, 2026.
