Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the ex-depot prices of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and Automotive Gas Oil (Diesel), with the new prices taking effect from Thursday, August 6.

Under the revised pricing structure, the ex-depot price of petrol has been reduced by ₦50, from ₦1,215 to ₦1,165 per litre.

The refinery also slashed the ex-depot price of diesel by ₦80, lowering it from ₦1,650 to ₦1,570 per litre.

According to the company, the latest price adjustment is part of its commitment to making quality petroleum products more affordable, improving access to refined fuels, and supporting economic activities across the country.

Dangote Refinery said it remains committed to ensuring a stable supply of petroleum products while leveraging operational efficiencies to deliver greater value to consumers, businesses and other stakeholders.

“As Africa’s largest refinery, Dangote Petroleum Refinery continues to play a pivotal role in strengthening Nigeria’s energy security, reducing reliance on imports, and supporting the nation’s economic development through the supply of world-class petroleum products,” the company stated.

The refinery added that it remains committed to supporting Nigeria’s economic growth and passing the benefits of improved operational efficiencies to consumers whenever market conditions permit.
