The Sokoto State Police Command has announced that the written examination for applicants seeking enlistment as Police Constables will be conducted from 28 to 30 April 2026.

In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, Ahmad Rufa’i, the Command said the exercise will hold daily from 7:00 a.m. at the Command Headquarters Auditorium.

The examination is strictly for candidates who successfully passed the earlier physical and credentials screening stages.

According to the statement, eligible applicants are required to visit the official recruitment portal to print their examination invitation cards, which will contain details of their specific test schedule.

“Qualified applicants are required to log on to [www.npfapplication.psc.gov.ng](http://www.npfapplication.psc.gov.ng) from Friday, 24th April 2026, to print their Examination Invitation Card, which will indicate the specific date, time, and venue of their test,” the statement noted.

Candidates are expected to come along with essential items, including a pen, their National Identification Number (NIN) slip issued by the National Identity Management Commission, and the printed examination invitation card.

The Command also specified a strict dress code of white shorts, white T-shirt and white canvas shoes.

It further emphasised that the recruitment process is free, warning applicants against engaging in any form of bribery or falling victim to fraudulent schemes.

“The Command categorically states that the recruitment process is entirely free of charge. Any form of job racketeering, scam, or financial inducement will be met with the full force of the law,” the statement added.

Applicants were advised to comply strictly with all guidelines to ensure a smooth and transparent examination process.
