PDP Poised to Reclaim Kogi in 2027, Says Chairman Muhammed Gambo

Alhaji Muhammed Gambo, Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State, has expressed confidence that the party will reclaim power from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027.

In a statement to journalists on Friday in Lokoja, Gambo said, “The PDP will dislodge APC from Lugard House through the ballots in 2027. We will not only take over Lugard House, but also Aso Rock,” citing the party’s strong network and structure across Kogi and the country.

Describing Kogi as “a PDP state,” he added that his emergence as Chairman has reignited the party’s winning zeal. Gambo urged the electorate to remain faithful and support the PDP, while also calling for peace amid security challenges in the state and other parts of Nigeria.

He further assured that the PDP is ready to collaborate with the government to protect the lives and property of Nigerians.
