Flybird Aircraft Management Services Limited has confirmed that all passengers and crew aboard aircraft with registration number 5N-ISB were safely evacuated following an unusual landing at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) earlier today.
The aircraft, which was en route from Abuja to Kano, had 11 passengers and three crew members on board when it encountered difficulties during landing at about 9:30 am.
In a statement, Flybird said the flight crew adhered strictly to established operational and safety procedures, ensuring the aircraft was brought to a safe stop.
According to the company, all passengers and crew disembarked safely, with no injuries recorded.
“The aircraft has been secured, and the incident has been formally reported to the relevant aviation authorities. A detailed technical inspection and investigation are ongoing in line with regulatory requirements,” the firm stated.
