Businessman and socialite Nwata Anayo Eze, popularly known as E-Money, has officially presented a ₦50 million cheque to streamer and comedian Carter Efe following his boxing victory over street-pop singer Portable.
E-Money had earlier pledged the cash reward on Friday, 01–May–2026, shortly after Carter Efe emerged victorious in the celebrity boxing contest.
The cheque presentation took place at E-Money’s residence and was captured in a video that later circulated widely on social media.
Before the presentation, Carter Efe had disclosed on Wednesday that he was heading to E-Money’s residence to collect the promised reward after previously making public remarks about the delayed payment.
Sharing his reaction on Instagram alongside a photograph, Carter Efe wrote, “Congratulations to me. Jesussss”.
The handover ceremony was attended by singer Kcee, music executive Soso Soberekon, and members of Carter Efe’s team.
The payment followed Carter Efe’s victory over Portable at the Chaos in the Ring 4 held at Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.
During the contest, all three judges reportedly scored the fight 30–27 in favour of Carter Efe after three rounds, with the streamer using his height and reach advantage to control the bout.
Following the defeat, Portable publicly questioned the outcome of the match and alleged foul play.
In a series of posts shared on his Instagram Story, the singer claimed organisers failed to properly count punches he landed during the fight and insisted the judges’ decision did not accurately reflect his performance.
