The President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Akinteye Babatunde Afeez, has announced that the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has resumed the disbursement of upkeep allowances to eligible student beneficiaries.
Akinteye made the announcement in a post shared on his official X handle on Thursday, July 16, assuring students that the payment process has officially resumed and will continue until all outstanding beneficiaries receive their allowances.
He dismissed concerns over delays in the disbursement, insisting that the update was based on verified information and not speculation.
The NANS President also assured eligible students that the payment process would continue until everyone entitled to the upkeep allowance had been credited.
