Veteran broadcaster Frank Edoho has said he does not want his death to be connected to any woman, regardless of the relationship involved.
Edoho made the remarks during an interview published on Saturday by the YouTube channel Outside The Box, where he reflected on life, personal struggles and how he hopes to be remembered.
Speaking on male vulnerability and emotional pain, the former host of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire said he hopes to leave the world peacefully, knowing he positively impacted people around him.
“I don’t want to go to the gates of heaven and they ask me what killed me and they say it’s a woman. Whether that woman be my daughter, my wife, my mother, I don’t want that. I don’t want that to be my way out of this portal,” he said.
The broadcaster added that he wants to die with fulfilment rather than regret.
“I want to die with a smile on my face, saying that all the people I met, I tried to put a smile on their face, and to have the only regret that I wish I did more good. Not that I wish I had more time,” Edoho stated.
His comments come amid an ongoing public dispute with his estranged wife, Sandra Onyenucheya, who recently accused him of infidelity, emotional abuse and financial recklessness in a lengthy Instagram post.
Sandra also alleged that Edoho pressured her to terminate their second pregnancy during their marriage.
Edoho had earlier responded with counterclaims, accusing Sandra of infidelity and alleging that she had an affair with a popular singer.
The media personality previously disclosed that he often expressed displeasure in relationships by keeping malice during disagreements.
