Nigeria’s headline inflation rate eased to 15.06 per cent in February 2026, indicating a continued, albeit slow, moderation in price pressures across the country.
Data released on Monday by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) shows a marginal decline of 0.04 percentage points from the 15.10 per cent recorded in January.
While the decrease is slight, it reflects a persistent trend of moderation that policymakers at the Central Bank of Nigeria will be closely monitoring as they seek to steer the economy toward price stability.
