JUST IN: Shettima Arrives Kebbi to Meet Families of Abducted Schoolgirls

Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Kebbi State to meet with government officials and families of the schoolgirls abducted from Government Girls Secondary School, Maga, by gunmen.

Shettima’s aircraft landed at the Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport, Birnin Kebbi, on Wednesday. He arrived alongside the Director General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Zubaida Umar, and other senior government officials.

The Vice President travelled to Kebbi on the directive of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He is expected to deliver the President’s message to the people of the state and receive a detailed security briefing for onward communication to the Presidency.
