The Federal Government has released the list of shortlisted candidates for recruitment into the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS), and the Federal Fire Service (FFS).

The announcement was made by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) on behalf of the government.

In a public notice, the Board’s Secretary, Maj. Gen. Abdulmalik Jibril (Rtd.), advised applicants to visit the official recruitment portal — [https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng](https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng) — beginning Thursday, October 30, 2025, to confirm their shortlisting status and check the centres for the Computer-Based Test (CBT).

The statement further urged shortlisted candidates to take note of the date, venue, and time of their CBT as indicated on the portal.

Maj. Gen. Jibril also cautioned applicants to beware of fraudsters, warning that only information published on the CDCFIB official website should be trusted.

The ongoing recruitment covers the four paramilitary agencies under the Board’s supervision — NIS, NSCDC, NCS, and FFS,  as part of the government’s effort to strengthen national security and emergency response capacity.
