In a significant step towards strengthening operational capabilities, the Nasarawa State Police Command, led by Commissioner of Police CP Shettima Jauro Mohammed, psc, mnips, has welcomed 136 newly graduated police constables. These constables have been deployed to the Command by the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, demonstrating the commitment to enhancing law enforcement resources in the state.

The newly appointed officers have been enrolled in an intensive three week Combat Operations Course at the Police Mobile Force Training College, Ende Hills, Nasarawa State. This training program aims to equip them with essential skills, including weapon handling, tactical awareness, and overall operational effectiveness, ensuring they are well prepared to meet the security challenges in the region.

During the send off ceremony, CP Shettima urged the constables to maintain discipline, professionalism, and a strong willingness to learn throughout their training. He expressed his gratitude to the Inspector General of Police for his unwavering support and for allocating a substantial number of officers to the Command, which is expected to significantly enhance the operational strength and security framework of Nasarawa State.
