The family of late Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba has announced plans for her burial, with the funeral service scheduled to take place in Ogun State.
In a notice shared on the actress’ official Instagram page on Friday, the family said Osoba would be laid to rest on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Saint James Anglican Church, Iperu Remo, Ogun State.
Mourners have been asked to wear white for the burial service.
The announcement comes shortly after colleagues and friends of the actress unveiled plans for a candlelight and artiste night in her honour.

The tribute event, themed “An Evening of Love, Music & Memories,” is scheduled for Tuesday, August 11, at LTV 8, Blueroof, Ikeja, Lagos.
Osoba died at the age of 40. Her death was announced on Wednesday by fellow actor Alesh Sanni, who described her as his “dearest sister.”
The actress was known for her roles in Yoruba-language Nollywood productions and had previously spoken publicly about her battle with cancer.
In August 2025, Osoba announced her return to acting after undergoing treatment, saying the experience had strengthened her commitment to healing and advocacy.
Following her death, the family appealed to the public to disregard speculation about the circumstances surrounding her passing and requested privacy as they mourn their loss.
