Celebrity fashion designer Victoria James, popularly known as Veekee James, and her husband, Femi Atere, have announced the arrival of their first child, Eliana.
The announcement was made through a post shared on Veekee James’ official Instagram page on Tuesday, revealing that their baby girl was born on May 2, 2026.
“She’s Here. #elianaatere. 02-May-26. Eliana Adeife Atere,” the designer wrote.
Veekee James also explained the meaning behind the child’s name, describing it as a testimony of answered prayers.
“EL (God) and ANA (He has answered), signifying ‘My God has answered,’” she wrote.
Referencing the Bible passage 1 Samuel 1:27, she added: “For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him.” 
The announcement drew congratulatory messages from celebrities, fans, and colleagues across the entertainment industry.
Media entrepreneur Mo Abudu wrote, “Congratulations, my darling, we give God all glory, she is beautiful.”
Content creator Enioluwa Adeoluwa also celebrated the news, writing, “Oluwa seunnnnn!🥹❤️ For our God is always good!”
Popular skit maker Taaooma commented, “God bless her ❤️❤️ Congratulations Mummy and Daddy.”
