Nollywood actress and producer Allwell Ademola has reportedly passed away at the age of 43, sparking shock and grief across the Nigerian film industry.
Entertainment sources confirmed on Saturday that Ademola allegedly suffered a heart attack at her residence before she was rushed to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Official confirmation from her family is still being awaited.
News of her reported death triggered an outpouring of emotional reactions from colleagues and fans on social media.
Reacting on Instagram, actress Faithia Williams expressed deep sorrow, writing:
“Haaaa. This hit me so bad. Eniobanke. Allahu Akbar..Allwell.”
Popular actress Mide Martins also paid tribute on Facebook, sharing a photo of Ademola with the caption:
“BLACK SATURDAY……This is not fair😭 May God forgive your shortcomings Allwell😭😭😭”
Actor Damola Olatunji posted a candlelight image with the simple but poignant words:
“Life is a mirage.”
Meanwhile, actress Bidemi Kosoko openly expressed disbelief over the reports, insisting she was unwilling to accept the news.
