Popular content creator Peller has announced that only 100 invited guests will attend his upcoming white wedding with partner Jarvis, following reports that several attendees had their mobile phones stolen during the couple’s traditional wedding.
The TikTok star disclosed this in a post shared on his Instagram page, days after the pair’s star-studded traditional wedding on Saturday, August 1, attracted celebrities, influencers, fans and widespread attention on social media.
According to Peller, he has received numerous complaints from guests who alleged that their phones were snatched outside the wedding venue.
“I just dey get different calls about people’s phones been snatched outside,” he wrote.
To prevent a recurrence, Peller said the white wedding, scheduled for August 8, will be strictly by invitation.
“August 8th is the day we will join together as one, which is the white wedding. 100 guest only pls if I did not send u an invitation pls do not come,” he stated.
He also warned touts, popularly known as agberos, against gathering around the venue, alleging that many phones were stolen during the traditional ceremony.
“Agbero pls don’t come and stay outside the place. They will pack any agbero wey there see for outside and take u to where u don’t know because u guys thief many phones yesterday,” he added.
Peller said security personnel would be deployed to remove anyone found loitering around the venue without an invitation.
The social media personality and Jarvis, whose relationship has gained popularity through their viral TikTok livestreams and online collaborations, are expected to exchange vows at their white wedding on August 8.
The venue for the ceremony has not yet been disclosed.
